Jonny, CEO, has driven many of JMCL’s projects for a wide range of clients, from global corporations to SMEs and start-ups. He qualified as a chartered accountant working for Arthur Anderson and was head of corporate finance at the Wace Group Plc, a FTSE-250 company. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics. Jonny combines a rigorous attention to detail with imaginative thinking and creative problem-solving.
On a personal note, Jonny was voted The Independent’s grass-roots football manager of the year, and has recently tried his hand as a stand-up comedian.
Damon is a hard-hitting procurement consultant with an impressive track record in the worlds of both private equity backed and listed businesses. His roles include Group Chief Procurement Officer at Rentokil Initial, Procurement Director at Laing O’Rourke and CPO/Director at G4S Plc.
He’s experienced working with SMEs and in emerging markets, having worked in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia. As well as cost reduction Damon is an expert in procurement processes and capital spend, and knows how to get the best out of complex situations.
Damon started out as a police officer – “The greatest negotiating school there is,” he says.
Stephen qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG specialising in data-manipulation. He manages JMCL’s analytical tools and vendor network, identifying procurement savings in many of the commoditised areas of procurement, such as communications & utilities. He combines formidable data handling and analytical skills with sharp negotiating talents, an entrepreneurial drive and a great rapport with clients.
Stephen balances his workload with concentrated outbursts of squash playing, and travelling to exotic places when he gets the time.
In addition, we have a team of over 50 specialist consultants whom we’ve worked with and vetted over many years. They provide expertise in even the most esoteric of spend categories and cover different industries and sectors. This ensures we can develop a thorough understanding of our clients’ businesses to be able to provide expert solutions shaped to fit their specific requirements.
