Private-equity backed, logistics business LYNX required support with savings delivery. We were tasked with identifying a couple of discrete areas and delivering savings.
We quickly completed our diagnostic and identified Agency Labour and Car Fleet as two categories where we would deliver savings. Our consultant then worked with LYNX’s management and operational people to deliver.
On car fleet, we delivered £130k pa savings, equivalent to 17.5% pa, as well as significant further benefits including outsourced management, improved residual value terms, pricing stability & benchmarking, improved manufacturer support and significant service level improvements.
On Agency Labour, we similarly delivered £245k pa savings and significant further service level benefits.
