We worked with Fitness First at a time before and after them becoming the world’s largest operator of health & fitness clubs with the UK their largest area of operations. Rapid growth and subsequent consolidation meant a challenging environment for the business and their suppliers.
We were initially appointed to deliver a Diagnostic Report on Procurement within the UK operations and subsequently delivered on a wide variety of projects covering all parts of the procurement cycle and globe including:
19 different spend categories (including gym equipment, membership cards, IT, Marketing etc.)
Improving purchase-to-pay processes, supplier management, procurement strategy, structure and policies.
Reviewing in-house warehousing and logistics operation and providing a recommendation and plan for outsourcing.
